Website Terms of Use

Last updated 3 August 2026

This website, onwoodtiles.com.au (the site), is operated by OnWood Tiles, a registered business name of Reagan Genrich (ABN 41 522 687 021), a sole trader based in Baringa, QLD 4551.

1. About these terms

This website, onwoodtiles.com.au (the site), is operated by OnWood Tiles, a registered business name of Reagan Genrich (ABN 41 522 687 021), a sole trader based in Baringa, QLD 4551.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean OnWood Tiles, and "you" means the person or business using the site.

By accessing or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms are not our terms of sale. They govern your use of this website only. If you buy products from us, that purchase is governed by our Terms and Conditions of Sale, which apply in addition to these terms. If there is any inconsistency between the two documents in relation to a sale, the Terms and Conditions of Sale prevail.

2. What this site is for

You may use the site to browse our range, view product information and inspiration, check indicative stock, arrange a showroom visit, and contact us. If you are an approved trade partner, you may also use the trade portal to check indicative stock, view your account pricing and submit order requests.

We do not sell products or accept payment through this site. There is no checkout and no payment processing on the site. Every sale is finalised directly with us, in person, by phone or by email.

3. Product information is a guide only

Product details, specifications, dimensions, finishes, technical data, images, stock levels and pricing on the site are supplied by us and by our suppliers and manufacturers. We take reasonable care to keep them accurate, but they are provided as a guide and can change without notice.

Advertised specials show a price. Everyday products show availability rather than a price. Pricing for trade partners is set per their account.

Nothing on the site is an offer to sell, a guarantee that a product is available, or a representation that a product is suitable for your project.

Before ordering, always confirm your choice against a current physical sample and the manufacturer's current technical data sheet - in particular slip rating, wear rating, frost resistance, suitability for the intended application (wall, floor, wet area, external, commercial), size and format, and any sealing or maintenance requirements.

4. AI-generated and illustrative imagery

Some images on this site are generated using artificial intelligence, or are digitally rendered or styled, to illustrate how a product may look once installed. They are illustrations. They are not photographs of the actual product, and they are not photographs of real installations.

We try to make these images as representative as we reasonably can, but the technology is not exact. An AI-generated or rendered image may differ from the real product - sometimes significantly - in:

  • colour, tone, shade, depth and undertone
  • veining, movement, texture and surface finish
  • tile size, format, proportions and scale within the room
  • layout, pattern, pattern repeat and how the product tessellates
  • grout colour, joint width and edge profile
  • reflectivity, gloss level and how the product reads under real lighting

These images are not a representation about the appearance, dimensions, finish, performance or suitability of any product, and you should not select a product based on them.

Room settings shown in any image - furniture, fittings, joinery, tapware, accessories and styling - are for illustration only and are not supplied by us.

Where practical, we identify AI-generated and rendered images on the page. A short notice appears with these images, linking back to this section.

The only reliable way to assess a product is to view a current physical sample, ideally in the light of the room where it will be installed. We are happy to provide or loan samples - please ask, or visit the Baringa showroom.

5. Screens, devices and print

Colours and finishes shown on a screen or in printed material will differ from the real product. Screens, devices, browsers, display settings and printing processes all reproduce colour differently, and no digital image reproduces a physical surface accurately. Please confirm every colour and finish decision from a current physical sample.

6. Natural stone, stone veneer and natural variation

Tiles, natural stone, stone veneer (stacker stone) and timber-look products are natural or naturally-inspired materials. They vary in shade, tone, colour, veining, movement, texture, surface finish, thickness, size and calibre - between production runs and, often, within the same run. This variation is a normal characteristic of the product, not a fault.

Natural stone and stone veneer vary the most. Because the material is quarried rather than manufactured, you should expect geological variation including colour movement, mineral inclusions, fossils, pitting, fissures, natural filling, and variation in the size, shape and thickness of individual pieces. Two pallets of the same product can look materially different from one another, and both can look different from a sample.

For stone veneer and stacker stone in particular:

  • coverage per box or pallet is approximate, because the pieces are irregular
  • corner-piece counts and the way pieces are jointed will affect your actual coverage
  • allow generously for cuts, selection and wastage

Many stone and stone veneer products require sealing before and/or after installation, and have specific cleaning requirements. Acidic or abrasive cleaners can permanently damage stone. Always follow the manufacturer's data sheet.

A sample is a small piece of a variable product. The range of variation across a full order can be considerably wider than any single sample or display piece shows. If the degree of variation matters to you, ask us before you order - we can often show you multiple pieces, a full box, or a larger display.

7. Batches and dye lots

Tiles, stone and timber-look products are made in production runs, known as batches or dye lots, which can vary from one to the next in shade, tone, size, calibre and finish. Product from a single batch is the most consistent.

Images and samples show one batch only.

We cannot guarantee that a re-order, top-up or later purchase will come from, or match, an earlier batch. Once a batch is sold out, the manufacturer may never produce that exact batch again, and a replacement batch can differ noticeably.

For this reason we strongly recommend ordering everything you need for a job, plus wastage, in a single order. If you need product to match tiles you already have, or to match across more than one order or area, you must tell an OnWood Tiles staff member at the time of ordering.

Batch matching, wastage and re-orders are dealt with in full in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

8. Stock levels and availability

Stock figures shown on the site, including in the trade portal, are indicative only. They are updated periodically and may not reflect real-time availability, stock committed to other customers, stock in transit, or product held at a supplier or manufacturer rather than at our warehouse.

Browsing the site, or submitting a request through the trade portal, does not reserve stock. Please contact us to confirm current availability and to have stock held.

9. Trade partner portal

Trade partner accounts are provided at our discretion to approved trade customers.

What the portal does.

The portal lets you check indicative stock, view pricing set for your account, and submit an order request to us.

What the portal does not do.

Submitting an order request through the portal is not an order and does not create a contract. It simply sends a notification to our team. We do not take payment through the site.

An order exists only once we have issued you a quote, order confirmation or deposit invoice from our system and - for special or indent orders - received your deposit. Until then, price, availability, batch and lead time are not confirmed, and no stock is reserved. All sales are governed by our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Your account.

Keep your login details secure, do not share them, and tell us straight away if you think your account has been misused. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Confidential pricing.

Pricing shown in a trade account is confidential to that account. You must not disclose, publish, forward or otherwise share it, including with other customers, other trade partners or our competitors. This obligation continues after your account is closed.

Suspension and closure.

We may suspend or close a trade account where it is misused, where these terms or your account terms are breached, where amounts are overdue, or where the account is no longer active. We will give you notice where it is reasonably practicable to do so.

10. Delivery and freight

We can arrange freight for most orders. Freight cost and timeframe are quoted at the time of your order, not on this site.

Freight varies considerably depending on:

  • the courier or carrier used for that consignment
  • where the stock is coming from - our Baringa warehouse, a supplier's warehouse, or a manufacturer, which may be interstate or overseas
  • the delivery destination, and whether it is metropolitan, regional or remote
  • the weight, fragility, pallet configuration and total volume of the order
  • site access, and whether a tail-lift, hand-unload or forklift is required
  • current carrier capacity and seasonal demand

Any freight cost or delivery timeframe mentioned on the site or given in general conversation is an estimate only, not a guarantee. Delays caused by carriers, suppliers, manufacturing or events outside our control can and do occur.

If freight cost or timing matters to your program, contact us before ordering and we will give you the most accurate quote and timeframe we can for your specific job, product and address.

Delivery, collection, risk in the goods, and the process and timeframe for reporting damage or shortages are dealt with in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

11. Returns, remedies and warranties

Any summary of returns or warranties on this site is general information. Our Terms and Conditions of Sale govern what actually applies to your purchase.

Change of mind.

We do not automatically accept returns for change of mind. Whether we accept one is at our discretion and depends on our supplier's position and the current stock and batch situation. Conditions, exclusions and any restocking or freight deductions are set out in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Variation, batch and availability issues.

Where a concern arises about batch variation, matching or availability, we will look at it with you and with our supplier. We may offer a refund, credit, exchange or replacement. Which remedy we offer, if any, is at our discretion and may depend on our supplier's response - except where the Australian Consumer Law entitles you to a particular remedy, in which case that law applies.

Manufacturer warranties.

Where a product carries a manufacturer's warranty, we pass that warranty on to you and will help you make a claim under it. We do not offer any separate or additional warranty of our own beyond the manufacturer's warranty.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are separate and are not limited by any manufacturer's warranty. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and those guarantees apply for a reasonable period having regard to the nature of the product - which may be longer than the manufacturer's warranty period. Nothing on this site or in these terms limits those rights.

12. We supply, we do not install

OnWood Tiles supplies products only. We do not carry out tiling, flooring, waterproofing or installation work.

Any coverage calculator, quantity estimate, setting-out suggestion, installation tip, care guide, blog article or inspiration content on this site is general information only. It is not professional advice for your specific project, and it does not take account of your substrate, site conditions, waterproofing requirements, falls, movement joints or the relevant standards.

We recommend you engage a licensed, qualified tiler or installer, and that installation complies with AS 3958 and all applicable waterproofing and building requirements.

Measuring your space and ordering the correct quantity is your responsibility. Any estimate we provide is a guide only. Always allow extra for cuts, wastage, breakage and future repairs - as a general guide at least 10 percent, and more for large-format tiles, feature or patterned layouts, and irregular or awkward areas.

Please inspect all product before it is installed.

13. Visiting our showroom and warehouse

These are our conditions of entry. They apply whenever you visit our Baringa showroom or warehouse, and they are in addition to any signage and any direction given by our staff on site.

General

  • Follow all signage and the directions of our staff at all times.
  • Children must be supervised at all times and must not be left unattended.
  • Tell a staff member immediately about any incident, injury, near miss or hazard.
  • We may refuse entry to, or ask to leave, any person behaving unsafely, aggressively or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Showroom

  • Display boards, sample panels, slabs and stacked product are heavy, fragile and can cause serious injury if they fall. Please do not lift, tilt, slide or move displays or product yourself - ask a staff member.
  • Please take care around glass, tiled surfaces and any area that may be wet or slippery.

Warehouse and yard

  • The warehouse and yard are operational work areas with forklifts, pallet handling, racking and moving vehicles.
  • Do not enter unless a staff member is with you, and stay within the areas you are directed to.
  • Closed-in footwear is required. Wear high-visibility clothing or other PPE where directed.
  • Do not climb on, lean against or remove product from racking or pallets.
  • Do not handle, move or load stock yourself unless a staff member asks you to.

Collection of orders

  • Please bring a vehicle suitable for the weight and size of your order. Tiles and stone are far heavier than most people expect - ask us for the weight of your order before you come.
  • Where we load your vehicle, we do so as a courtesy. Securing and restraining the load, and ensuring the vehicle is legally and safely loaded, is your responsibility.
  • If you send a carrier or third party to collect, they collect as your agent.

Nothing in this section limits our obligations under work health and safety laws, and nothing in it is intended to exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the site in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone else's rights
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its systems, its hosting environment or another user's account
  • interfere with, disrupt or overload the site, or introduce any virus, malicious code or harmful material
  • scrape, harvest, copy, index or systematically collect content, images, product data, pricing or stock information from the site, by automated or manual means, except as we expressly allow in writing
  • use any content or data from the site to train, fine-tune or develop any artificial intelligence or machine learning model, or to build any competing product, price or stock database
  • use our contact forms, enquiry forms or trade portal to send spam, bulk messages or marketing to us
  • provide false information, or impersonate any other person or business

15. Intellectual property

The site and everything on it - including text, photography, AI-generated and rendered imagery, graphics, logos, layout, product descriptions and the OnWood Tiles name and branding - is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view the site and share links to it for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, scrape or otherwise use our content or images for any other purpose without our written permission.

Trade partners: unless we tell you otherwise in writing, you may use product images and specification sheets that we supply to you for the purpose of presenting those products to your own clients, provided you do not alter them, do not remove any attribution or watermark, and do not disclose your account pricing. You must not use our name, logo or branding in a way that suggests we endorse you or your business, or that you are an agent, partner or authorised installer of ours.

Product names, brands and trade marks belonging to manufacturers and suppliers remain the property of their owners.

16. Content you send us, reviews and social media

If you send us photographs, reviews, testimonials or other content, or tag us or use our hashtags on social media, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, adapt and display that content to promote our business, including on this site, in our showroom and on our social channels. We will credit you where it is reasonable to do so, and we will remove your content on request where we reasonably can.

By sending us content you confirm that you own it or have permission to provide it, and that you have the consent of any person shown in it and of the owner of any property shown in it.

We may decline, edit or remove any content at our discretion.

Reviews and testimonials we publish are genuine.

18. Availability of the site

We aim to keep the site available and running smoothly, but we do not guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of the site, including the trade portal, at any time. Where a change is significant and affects trade partners, we will give account holders notice where it is reasonably practicable to do so.

19. Errors and corrections

The site may occasionally contain errors, or be incomplete or out of date. We may correct any information on the site at any time without notice.

Correcting information on the site does not itself affect an order we have already accepted. Where an order was based on an error in pricing, availability or product information, our Terms and Conditions of Sale set out what happens.

20. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Please read it to understand what we collect, why, who we share it with and how you can access or correct it.

21. Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:

  • the site and its content are provided on an "as is" basis
  • we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or anything on it - including AI-generated and rendered imagery, product information, indicative stock figures, coverage estimates, freight estimates, or general guidance on selection, suitability or installation
  • we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, contract or opportunity
  • we are not liable for the content or conduct of any third-party site
  • where our liability for a service supplied through the site can be limited but not excluded, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied

Our liability in connection with products we sell is dealt with in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

22. Suspension of access

We may restrict, suspend or withdraw your access to the site or to a trade account if you breach these terms, or if we reasonably suspect misuse. Where it is reasonably practicable, we will tell you first and give you an opportunity to fix the problem.

23. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on the site when you use it is the version that applies to that use, so please check the "last updated" date above.

Where a change materially affects trade partners, we will notify account holders. If you do not accept a change, your remedy is to stop using the site or ask us to close your trade account.

24. General

  • If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, it is severed and the rest continues to apply.
  • If we do not enforce a right, that is not a waiver of it.
  • You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms. We may assign ours in connection with a sale or restructure of our business.
  • Clauses 14, 15, 16, 21 and this clause 24 survive any suspension or termination of your access to the site.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the courts entitled to hear appeals from them.
